Steph's Birthday

We have finally had a break in the hot weather, yes folks winter has come to Texas! Of course it will be warm again in a few days because thats the way we cycle, but at least it won't be hot again for a few months maybe.
Yesterday was Stephanie's birthday. It just seems like yesterday she was a talkative little shadow following me around. Now she is 28 and a new mom. There go those years whooshing by again!
Not much else going on here besides the ordinary business of day to day life with a house full of little ones and the burn out associated with that. I have also been getting ready for Christmas. After the apathy of the past few years it's nice to have a tiny bit of enthusiam return. Hopefully I have finally turned the corner.
I haven't been posting but still visit the blogs I read regularly. There are a couple of things that I have read that disturb me, but I am not ready to post my thoughts right now...I know I will one day though.
