ARRRGGG!!

I was walking out of the library yesterday with the lil ones..and my phone rang...a close friend says ' i have a problem' so i ask what......the cancer that was treated with radiation this time last year has showed back up according to the bloodwork done last week at a checkup. The Dr says the options are radiation again with a 25% chance it might work or removal of the body part that is diseased. That doesn't seem like much of an option really...so when is the surgery I ask? Don't know will have to tell the Dr the decision and see what arrangements are made. Ok I make a joke and try to get a chuckle...this is horrible news! So I hang up the phone and blubber a minute and go on with my errands, the day is shot. About an hour later the phone rings again, they called back and the lab results got mixed up...the friend is FINE!!! THANK GOD!!! Now I really wanna cry...I am so relieved..then it hits me...they SCREWED UP AND PUT EVERYBODY WHO CARED THRU HELL!!! They caught the error sure, what if they hadn't? Would my friend be having unnecessary surgery?? I wonder if they have any idea of the emotional stress involved in hearing something like that?? I think not, if they did they would check and double check to make sure no mistakes were made.... AAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGG!!!! I am SO pissed at the lab, and SO glad they caught their error, and SO very very glad my friend is doing ok. More good news coming along these lines next week too, I'm SURE!! (((hugs ))) to everybody, I'm in a huggy mood !
